Introduction to the Program
Welcome to the DNA Business Performance Acceleration part of the Quantum Leap 360 Program. We are ready to help you change your mindset, strategy, and execution tactics for achieving beyond exponential growth in your business.
Are you ready to experience:
- Transforming your mindset to dream big and execute a “moonshot” business plan?
- Adapting your leadership style to capitalize on your strengths and more effectively manage different styles?
- Building a more scalable employee and client-centered business which has reach far beyond you?
- Creating the space and organizational structure so you can take time away from your business with it continuing to flourish without your daily input?
- Building a framework for making improved business decisions?
Achieving 10x plus exponential growth may require some radical new thinking to be considered and a plan developed to unleash it. However, once committed you will find this far more inspiring and energizing than simply executing a 2x strategy.
By adopting an “Understanding People Before Numbers” approach to align people, process, and technology you will be able to unlock opportunities and blockages that were previously invisible. Also, importantly for your business to achieve sustainable exponential growth it will need to have a people-centric culture which enables great employee and client experiences to be delivered with a very high level of psychological safety.
Segment 1: Building Your Moonshot Business Model
In this 90-minute meeting, the DNA Performance Advisor will address the following:
- Module 1: Vision your business moonshot goal.
- In the context of taking man to the moon, what is the “moonshot” goal for your
business? - What is something radical, big, and transformational for the world that you want to do?
- How many people will it impact? Think of 1 billion and not 1 million.
- Ideally, your business has the potential to generate $1 billion of revenue.
- Read: Exponential Organizations by Peter Diamandis (attached).
- Also, you can create and edit your Moonshot at www.purposebuilder.ai
- In the context of taking man to the moon, what is the “moonshot” goal for your
- Module 2: Defining your future business model.
- While you now have a Moonshot goal, the vision needs to be converted to strategy and then execution tactics. You have to break down the Moonshot goal and work backward to today.
- Then consider what do you need to do today that will help you reach the Moonshot destination?
- Consider what elements of your current business model will help you reach your moonshot.
- Undertaking an 80/20 review of the business may be important to determine which 20% of activities, clients/customers, technology, and people are part of generating 80% of the results. You will then need to be prepared to let go of the rest, which is not easy to do. However, you will now have much greater energy and freedom to focus on your Moonshot goal.
- Read: 10x Is Easier Than 2x by Dan Sullivan.
- Module 3: Defining your Play Bigger strategy.
- The market positioning of your business is critical so that it can be differentiated and reach a dominant position. Nevertheless, the business needs to be understandable and people know where it fits in as a reference point.
- Define the specific sub-market channel that your business fits into. The sub-market channel should be a segment of a much larger addressable market.
- When you have clarity of the market positioning in the context of the Moonshot goal it will become clearer what the unique messaging needs to be, who the target customers are, and branding.

Segment 2: Building Your Business Plan
In this 90-minute meeting, the DNA Performance Advisor will address the following:
- Module 4: Build your Traction Plan for Business Scalability.
- You need to design a scalable business model which enables extreme revenue acceleration without costs and headcount accelerating at the same rate. Importantly, the business can achieve exponential growth without being landlocked to you. The design of a scalable business model requires careful planning and then having the right people, processes, and technology.
- Complete the Exponential Growth Strategy Checklist (attached)
- Defining and prioritizing your goals can be difficult. As stated, work backward from the Moonshot goal to today for determining the 12-month goals. Then, allocate the team leaders who will be responsible for each goal and how they are messaged down to the team.
- Also, identify the key “number” for the business which you will want to know on a daily or weekly basis for monitoring activity, and a broader set of key performance metrics (KPI’s) for the business and each leader.
- Building a “Traction Plan” helps cut to the chase on the key business plan elements and provide clarity. You can learn the format by reading: Traction by Gino Wickman. Our goal in this program is to help you design a business model that will be translated into a Traction Plan. You may need ongoing coaching to manage the Traction Plan process, including the meeting cadence.
- Following the Traction model outlined in the book, there is a recommended meeting cadence – starting with a daily stand-up “huddle” to weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings. Further, we recommend running the meetings to a “Level 10” structure which will help you or the team leader review goals and specific task completion. We will give you the format.
- Module 5: Identifying and unlocking business plan blockages.
- Identify the hidden obstacles, landmines, and negative energy forces that your business may have in terms of people, processes, and technology. Some of them you may know about to some degree and others will be complete surprises. Where is an upgrade needed?
- Have your team and stakeholders individually complete the Organizational Energy
Discovery (refer: https://kb.dnabehavior.com/gene/organizational-energy-discovery) - Once the nominated people have completed the Organizational Energy Discovery we will collate the results and prepare a summary report. The insights from the report will help you see where course corrections may be needed.
- Module 6: The role of Money Energy in your Moonshot.
- Have you considered how you behave and think about money are crucial to the business decisions that are made? Further, how these decisions will impact every dimension of your business and its future trajectory? Put another way, fears that you may have about money could become impediments.
- In the context of achieving your Moonshot goal, what will the financial consequences be on the business and your overall business? Have you planned for how to manage the business and your life if there is a bump in the road on the way?
- Based on our extensive research a leader's capability to innovate at low cost,
preparedness to invest in innovation, and then overall utilization of financial resources are key to sustainable success. Read: The Three Financial Styles of Very Successful Leaders by Ted Prince. - So that we can make an assessment of how your financial behavior is impacting the business, please give us the following data:
➢ Gross margin % of gross revenue
➢ Marketing and selling expense % of gross revenue
➢ Indirect cost % of gross revenue and/or net EBITDA% of gross revenue. - Consider the design and implementation of an Ownership Thinking Plan for the business which is tied to the critical KPI’s – in particular, sales and/or profitability depending on the employees. Read: Ownership Thinking by Brad Hams.
Segment 3: Building Your AI Technology Plan
In this 90-minute meeting, the DNA Performance Advisor will address the following:
- Module 7: Establish how you can do more with AI.
- Today, the proliferation of AI tools can help considerably. However, infusing AI into your business requires deep knowledge of your products, where future change is coming from, and every underlying process.
- AI adds value when the fundamental business model, products, and intellectual property themselves are valuable.
- Build an AI Tech Plan which aligns with how you expect your business to operate in the future based on the business model that has been designed.
➢ Start by addressing the 40% of bottom-level tasks and identifying which ones can be completed fully or partially with AI. Read: AI Superpower Accelerator Toolkit by Mike Koenigs (Attached).
➢ Look at your existing products and determine which ones could be transformed with AI.
➢ Are there new products which could be designed that are powered by AI.
➢ Have you got data that can be leveraged? - Read: AI As Your Team Mate by Evan Ryan

-
Complete the Leadership Performance Discovery (95 rating items – Allow 15 to 20

➢ What changes in behavior and mindset will you make to improve these scores in terms of how you lead the business?
➢ What is holding you back from making changes to how you operate?
➢ How does your identity which was addressed in Part of the program play into the changes you will make?
-

Segment 5: Building Organizational Culture and Engagement
In this 90-minute meeting, the DNA Performance Advisor will address the following:
- Module 10: Define your three-year organizational structure
- Define your desired organizational culture into a memorable statement. To some degree, the culture statement is a reflection of the identity of the business (its “Business DNA”) and the employee and client experiences you are seeking to provide. Please read ourGrow a People-Centric Organization Using Exponential Behavioral Technology guide (refer: https://kb.dnabehavior.com/gene/grow-a-people-centric-organization-using-exponential-behavioral-technology)
- Prepare an organizational chart that reflects the specific roles to be filled in your business over the next 3 years as it experiences exponential growth. Also, identify the specific tasks to be performed by each person and what the KPI’s would be. Having KPI’s for each role helps determine the value each role contributes to the overall result.
- Module 11: Learn how to connect with each team member.
- Using the DNA Web App, prepare a Team Report which includes each member of your leadership team (with you as the designated leader).
-
Then, review the Team Report identifying:
➢ The key similarities and differences between you and each team member
➢ The key similarities and differences between each team member.
- Use the Team Performance Guide (attached) as a framework for reviewing and working with your team.
- Module 12: Enhance your team relationships.
- Consider what changes you could make to engage and work with each team member better.
- How should you communicate with each team member?
- How could the overall team interactions be improved with better communication?
- What other steps are needed to improve team dynamics?
- You can also consider the same principles for how enhanced client experiences are
developed.
Segment 6: Establishing Business Decision-Making Processes
In this 90-minute meeting, the DNA Performance Advisor will address the following:
- Module 13: Establish decision-making governance.
- Decisions are made every day in the business from the top level down through to
managers and product or service experts. Some decisions are made on a once-off basis and others are made multiple times daily as part of business operations. - Our research shows that there is substantial “Behavioral Variability” in individual and group decision-making. The Behavioral Variability is inherent based on the different DNA behavioral styles of decision-makers and group dynamics at work causing bias.
- Identify particular types of decisions where you believe the variability could be high with the financial and brand reputation consequences to the business potentially being significant.
- You can learn more by reviewing our decision-making guides (refer: https://kb.dnabehavior.com/gene/knowledge#decision-making)
- Decisions are made every day in the business from the top level down through to
- Module 14: Establishing future decision-making governance and protocols.
- Review the key decisions made in the business in all areas and consider how the
decision-making processes could be better improved in the future. - Given you will have some high-stakes decisions to make for the future, consider how the decision-making processes could unlock or impede exponential growth.
- In particular, read our article and the various guides on Building an Effective Decision-Making Process.
- Review the key decisions made in the business in all areas and consider how the
