Digital Scan: Access, Steps, and Availability Update

Run Digital Scan from the Users page to unlock AI-driven behavioral insights. Available to all accounts until Oct 22, then limited to Professional, Small Business, and Enterprise plans.

Digital Scan is now available across all accounts. You can access it directly from the Users page in the DNA Web App. This guide explains how to use it, upcoming changes to availability, and how to run Digital Scan for events.

What is Digital Scan?

Digital Scan is an AI-powered behavioral analysis tool that predicts over 4,000 traits based on minimal inputs such as name, job title, and company. It provides immediate insights into client, prospect, and employee behaviors to improve engagement, sales, and decision-making.

Important: Digital Scan is predictive and should not be used for high-stakes decisions. Always consider other data sources alongside these insights.

Current Availability

  • Now: Digital Scan is enabled on all accounts.

  • From October 22, 2025: Access will be limited to the following packages:

    • Small Business

    • Professional

    • Enterprise

If you are on a Legacy package and need continued access after this date, contact support about upgrading.

How to Run a Digital Scan

Step 1: Log in to your DNA Web App account.
Step 2: Go to the Users page.



Step 3: Click the Scan button located next to the search bar.



Step 4: Complete the popup form with:

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Company Name

    • Job Title

    • Email Address (use an alias email, e.g., dna+digitalscan@dnabehavior.com)

Step 5: Click Submit. The scan will run in the background.
Step 6: Once complete, a Digital Scan icon will appear on the profile.

Digital Scan for Events (Bulk Scanning)

Digital Scan can also process larger groups for events.

  • Small Groups: Scan individuals directly in your account.

  • Large Groups: Submit an Excel list to DNA Behavior Support for batch scanning. Allow at least 5 business days for processing.
