This article would serve as a guide for named users in modifying usernames/emails in the New DNA Web app.
As a Named User in the DNA Web App, you have the flexibility to manage your profile and the profiles of your participants. This includes the ability to change the names of participants and your own name. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you navigate these changes effortlessly.
Changing the Username of a Participant
If you need to update the name of a participant in your group, follow these steps:
Log into the DNA Web App: Enter your credentials to access your dashboard.
Navigate to the Participant/User List:
- From the main dashboard, select the "Participants/User" tab. This will display a list of all participants under your management.
Select the Participant
- Find the participant whose username you need to change. Click on the participant's name to open their profile.
Edit Participant Details
- On the participant's profile page, on the right side portion of the page click the Pen Icon that allows you to modify their details.
Update the Username
- Update the new information. After making the changes, click "Save". Double-check the participant’s profile to ensure that the new username is correctly displayed.
Changing Your Own Name
As a Named User, you may need to update your own username due to personal reasons or corrections. Named users cannot change their own usernames; as such, you will need a colleague who is also a named user to change your username. If you are the only named user in your account, you will need to create a ticket and allow the Support team to make the modifications.
